Debbie and I attended the Festival of the Tents in Brownsville, Oregon this past labor day weekend. Unfortunately, I was the only member of The New Dawn in attendance, so we didn't play the album for those gathered there. We had a really great time visiting with others gathered there for the weekend, around the campfires and in the main worship tent. A local Christian musician, Margaret Plumb, led the worship team that played for all of the services. Great music. I was able to trade our CD for her new CD called "Winds". Another local muscian, Liana Bumstead, played some songs from her new CD "Things that rust" on Sunday. She is a member of our sister church in Sheridan called Open Doors. Sounded great. This festival is held every labor day in Brownsville, so if you are ever in the neighborhood, be sure to make an effort to come. I am hoping that several members of our group will be there next year so we can play a little.
